When I moved to take a job near Minneapolis in 2000, I wanted to find out as much as I could about the many various departments in the Minneapolis St Paul Metropolitan region, with the thought that the choice of which city I moved to might be influenced by various volunteer firefighting opportunities.  Ironically, I got busy enough between my work and growing family that I ended up not joining a fire department anyway during my time there.  Anyway, I found some decent information on some of the departments through internet searches, but would have best enjoyed being able to see a directory of information all in one place, or at the very least a single page with links or contact info for all of them.

Now there is one.
