The Cottage Grove Fire Department is a class 4 combination career and volunteer department that serves the City of Cottage Grove, and also provides EMS to the cities of St Paul Park, Newport, and Grey Cloud TWP.  There are approximately 55 members serving this department. Call volume is approximately 2,000 responses annually.  The Cottage Grove Fire Department has four fire stations covering approximately 37.9 square miles.
