The Excelsior Fire District is a paid-on-call department that serves the Cities of Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Tonka Bay, and portions of the City of Shorewood.  There are approximately 42 members serving this department.  Call volume is approximately 800 responses annually.  The Excelsior Fire District has two fire stations covering approximately 14 square miles.
