The Hudson Fire Department is a multi-class (City - 4, County within five miles - 6, other areas - 9) paid-on-call department that serves the City of Hudson, the Village of North Hudson, Hudson TWP, and a portion of Troy TWP.  There are approximately 36 members serving this department.  Call volume is approximately 300 responses annually.   The Hudson Fire Department has one fire station covering approximately 40 square miles, and a second station is planned for the future.
