The Mahtomedi Fire Department is a Class 5 paid-on-call department serving Mahtomedi, Willernie, and portions of Grant.  There are approximately 35 members serving this department.  Call volume is approximately 300 responses annually.  The Mahtomedi Fire Department has one fire station covering 35 square miles.
