The Monticello Fire Department is a class 6 paid-on-call department that serves the City of Monticello, a portion of the City of Otsego, Monticello TWP and Silver Creek TWP .  There are approximately 30 members serving this department.  Call volume is approximately 270 responses annually.  The Monticello Fire Department has one fire station covering approximately 72 square miles.
