There is a fixed set of information that Twin Cities Metro Fire Directory will attempt to provide for each department. Please consult the list below for what this site may include for each department:

Fire Department Name

Lead Photo (one picture of a station, apparatus, personnel, etc)

Insurance Class / Rating

Department Type (career, paid-on-call, volunteer, or combinations)

Cities/communities served

Number of personnel

Average annual call volume

Number of stations

Street address of each station

Area covered (in square miles)

Identification of primary apparatus at each station ("Engine 7, Ladder 2", etc)

Fire District boundaries

Department contact information (address, phone, fax, email)

Radio frequencies

Department web site

Department Patch/Emblem image or photo

Any other locally-related agency web sites (law enforcement, rescue services, EMS, etc)

There are two ways to submit to TCMFD:

(1) Send email to submit@tcmfd.com. The mail server will send an automatic reply to you to make sure you are not a source of spam (we get a LOT of spam). When you get the automatic message, simply click "reply" in your email application and send the message back.

(2) If you do not have access to email, or prefer to not use email, you can click here to submit an update through the Forum. Forum messages are previewed before being made visible, so you will not see your post right away.

NOTE: I cannot answer questions pertaining to any policies, hiring, records, permits or any other official type of communications pertaining to any fire department. Please click HERE to find which fire department serves you, and then contact your fire department.
