The White Bear Lake Fire Department is a class 3 paid-on-call department that serves White Bear Lake, White Bear TWP, Dellwood, Birchwood, and Gem Lake.  There are approximately 58 members serving this department. Call volume is approximately 2,000 responses annually.  The White Bear Lake Fire Department has two fire stations covering 36 square miles.
